Tragedy of Writer’s Block

regulatory-uncertainty

I have come down with a tragic case of writer’s block.  I have started on several different stories to post, but can’t seem to finish any of them.  I’ve tried stepping away and then coming back to write.  I’ve even tried looking at pictures and listening to music to get that spark back.  But alas, my mojo is on the fritz.  Woe is me….

Has this ever happened to you?  What did you do to get back on track?

  1. It happens to the greatest of writers 🙂 In my insignificant case, I was inspired to work on a manuscript and suddenly all the flow was gone. I simply left it and later I worked on another manuscript. Writing is a process and often the flow can return in months rather than days. Patience and perseverance 🙂

    1. Thanks for the great advice! 🙂 I think I have conditioned myself that it all has to be done “right now”. That’s too much pressure. No wonder I’m blocked. Lol.

      1. You’re welcome 🙂 I learnt not to put pressure on myself. There is enough time yet 🙂
